The artwork depicts a traditional guilloche dial face used to ornament a little Night Light clock.
The sun ray guilloche pattern was created with the Engraver II and Photoshop. I created this pattern by making seven layers of circles progressing in size, with the largest circle on the bottom of the layer stack. Each circle was filled with the Engraver's Rings Waved Radial pattern. Then, every other layer was Twirled +50 degrees, while the remaining layers were Twirled -50 degrees.
